13-Week Cash Flow Forecast for Etsy Sellers
Thirteen weeks on the Etsy deposit cycle, with the lowest closing balance and the week it happens on the front, because that is the only number anybody acts on.

Because a maker buys materials months before selling anything made from them, and that gap is widest in the autumn.

Who this workbook is for
Profitable sellers who still have weeks where the money looks wrong, and cannot see why.

Deposits, not sales
The income line is what Etsy actually transfers, which arrives on the schedule you set and after the fees have already come out. Putting your sales figure in that line is the commonest way to make a forecast look fine and then be wrong by the whole of Etsy’s cut.

One number, and the week it lands in
The lowest closing balance across the thirteen weeks, and the week it happens. Everything else on the sheet exists to produce those two figures. If the low point is negative the fix is usually to move a materials order by a fortnight, which is a decision you can only make while there is still a fortnight in hand.

Money on hold is not your money
Etsy can hold funds on a new shop or on individual orders. It is yours and it cannot pay a supplier, so it goes in its own cell and arrives when it actually arrives rather than when it was earned.
