Three things worth knowing

The correct rate divided by the naive one is always the working year divided by your chargeable days. Bill four days in five and you have to charge a quarter more than the easy sum suggests.

This is before materials. Price those separately, because a markup on materials is not a margin on them.

It is also before tax. The target here is profit, and what you owe on it depends on whether you are a sole trader or a company.
