Six pages a board can actually read, fed from one Numbers sheet, with the what-happened, why, what-we-are-doing commentary structure on every page.

Who this workbook is for

Anyone presenting forty slides to people who got them last night
The shape is six pages: five headline numbers, profit against plan, cash and runway, KPIs, risks, asks. Sent three days before the meeting, so the meeting assumes the pack was read and starts where it stops. A pack that needs presenting was not a pack, and every month it teaches directors not to read the next one.

Anyone whose pack has disagreed with itself
Every figure on every page is pulled by reference from one Numbers sheet, so nothing is typed twice and the pack cannot tell two stories. Change revenue once and it changes everywhere, and the runway cell switches automatically between months of cash when you are burning and cash generative when you are not.

Anyone whose board meetings produce no decisions
Pages five and six are why the meeting exists. The risk page carries three to five risks with the only column that earns its place, what changed since last time, because a register nothing moves on is a museum. The asks page is written as decisions with last time’s decisions above it, and if it is empty two boards running, the board is a book club.
