Three things worth knowing

Utilisation is billable days over the working year. The correct rate divided by the naive one is always the working year divided by your billable days.

A day a week on admin, pitching, invoicing, chasing and marketing is the honest default. If you think yours is less, log it for a month before you change the number.

This is before tax, and before the cost of a quiet month, which is a cash flow problem rather than a pricing one.
