Listing Margin Tracker
Contribution per listing after eBay’s fees, postage, packaging and promoted listings, then the same listings ranked by what they actually contribute.
Because a listing with a healthy margin and two sales a month is worth less than a dull one selling sixty, and sorting by percentage hides that completely.
Who this workbook is for
Profitable sellers who still have weeks where the money looks wrong, and cannot see why.

Fees net of the VAT you reclaim
eBay invoices its fees with VAT on them. If you are registered you get that back, so the cost in your margin is the invoiced fee divided by 1.20. Set the VAT rate to nil and every figure changes, which is the point.

A per-listing ad rate, because that is how eBay charges
Each row carries its own promoted listings rate. A listing promoted at 10 per cent and one promoted at nothing are different businesses and should not share an average.

The bottom of the list is the interesting end
The ranked sheet shows how few listings carry the top 80 per cent, how many contribute under a fiver a month, and what dropping the loss-makers would add back.
